5892 precious people who started  - one by one - as a Voice of Encouragement to Officer Flora Ryan - upon her diagnosis (last March 2010) and support for Relay for Life involvement (June 2010) but have grown into one of the most incredible support systems , prayer team, brothers and sisters in the fight: survivors, co-survivors, Thrivers and those who just want to make a difference and RELATE to others who have "been there"  - all gathered together on the wacky social-media format: Facebook - across the country and the world!

Pink Ribbon #139 magnets on cars/motorcycles from California, to Florida, to South Carolina to Canada... encouragement and $ support - all toward Susan G. Komen for the Cure... over $18,000.00 thus far - magnets and bracelets... wow... such love, such support, HUMANITY DOES CARE!

Ordered 500 Pink Ribbon magnets today : round 2 of Portage #139 Fight Like a Girl... unbelievable the following of Pink Police and Cops for a Cure - the support for my dear friend, Officer Flora Ryan, as she enters into SURVIVORLAND! (Chemo & radiation - officially OVER!) and takes on the region as a healthy law enforcement officer...

...to watch her, fuzzy headed- vested/pistol packing and vibrant! self - serving and defending our region- overwhelms me with gratitude and thanksgiving: overcoming breast cancer - she serves our Region with PASSION!!! I LOVE that! Truly a SHE-ro -Thanks dear Flora, #139, for fighting this fight with such grace and strength - you inspire me! (love you friend!)
