Fighting Breast Cancer: The Eyes of the 3-Day

It's found in her eyes...   do you see it?

What DO you see?

Hope?

Fear?

Future?

Health?

Family?

Life?

Death?

What do you see?

These lovely eyes, on this lovely pink mohawk'ed head, are Patty's eyes.   Patty is fighting an aggressive form of breast cancer - "sarcoma" - which generally has a LESS THAN 1% chance of survival.

Patty, however, is not allowing that initial doctor "proclamation"  to become her "death sentence".

Patty, however IS CHOOSING TO LIVE LIFE TO IT'S FULLEST - to be in the "now" and to take charge of many decisions that will allow her to live with the same vibrancy she has lived these past 45+ years.

Patty knew the chemo regimen would be very harsh.  She chose to donate her lovely long dark locks to "locks of love" BEFORE brittle and dry set in.  Her newly shaved head, became a perfect canvas for a "pink mohawk" - albeit a temporary pink mohawk. She is choosing to look like the fierce WARRIOR in PINK that she is.

My heart has fallen in love with this amazing Warrior - she is a face-to-face  reminder of why I talk, I talk, I talk until Awareness comes, and I walk, I walk, I walk until the BATTLE'S WON (the CURE!).

Together, Warriors like Patty and each one committed to doing our part to find a CURE - together we will change the world... one life at a time...

Are you in?

Ah!  Yes?  Yes!

The "EYES" have it!
